Background
The Prodigy was formed in Braintree, Essex, England in 1990 by member Liam Howlett. The band has never officially disbanded, but Leeroy Thornhill left the band in 1999 and The Prodigy haven't released any music since 2018. The Prodigy's genres include EDM, rave, techno, house, acid house and dubstep.
Members
Keith Flint
Keith Charles Flint was born on the 17th of September 1969. Keith initially joined The Prodigy as a dancer and offered to write lyrics for their song "Firestarter", which was initially meant to be an instrumental track. Since that song, Keith had continued to provide vocals for many of their songs. When 1996 rolled around, Keith decided to abandon his clean-cut, long-haired, angel-faced self and shaved his hair into the iconic punkish haircut we all love today. Unfortunately, Keith passed away on the 4th of March 2019 from hanging; it is unconfirmed whether this was suicide or not, but is generally regarded as such.
Maxim Reality
Keith Andrew Palmer was born on the 21st of March 1967. Maxim is referred to as the MC of the group, offering vocals to songs such as "Poison". An underrated member of the group, Maxim has not only been involved with The Prodigy and has produced solo work, collaborating with arists such as Skin from Skunk Anansie. Maxim is also involved in producing his own art, and held his frist exhibition in 2011. He has since gone on to sell his art to help donate money to charities.
Liam Howlett
Liam Paul Paris Howlett was born on the 21st of August 1971. The brains behind the madness, Liam makes the music for group with the addition of Keith and Maxim's vocals. He performs all the instrumentals at live shows with his impressive amount of keyboards in place of using a computer and knob twiddling machine. Surprisingly, he is not shown much attetion despite being responsible for all of The Prodigy's material.
Leeroy Thornhill
Leeroy Thornhill was born on the 8th of October 1968. He was a dancer for The Prodigy and occassionally assisted in keyboarding. Leeroy is credited for his unique style of rave dancing which he provided as a member of The Prodigy, and you can see how he did this in video such as "Out of Space". Leeroy is a criminally underrated member of The Prodigy, and is often forgot because of his departure from the group. Therefore, #StopLeeroyErasure.

Thoughts
I don't know how or why I like The Prodigy, but they are much more than just The Fat of the Land because of the diferent types of music they tackle in their other albums. Personally, I don't like their albums after The Fat of the Land because of the vastly differing style featured especially on Invaders Must Die and The Day is My Enemy, where the music almost borders on dubstep, which isn't my scene at all. Other than that, The Prodigy is revolutionary for the way that they changed electronic music with songs like Charly and Firestarter. The Fat of the Land was also revolutionary in the way that it brought two groups of music fans together: metalheads and ravers.
